Version 0.5.7: Backlog
I'm currently working on the backlog. A mixture of things that are missing or could use some more polish. Here are some examples.
Missing Textures
The main bulk of this week was spent on drawing textures for the kneeling puppets. They finally no longer look very silly when wearing any clothing. Other missing textures were some law textures that were missing, such as the horse armors or extra fox tails, as well as the missing tilesets for some of the crops.


Tech UI
The technology UI was very clunky and required a lot of zooming. So in order to allow a clear overview of all techs, it has now been fully reworked. It even has a neat background image.

More Color Options
Previously equipment colors had to be defined manually. However, now you can select from any of the in-engine colors.

Not much progress here, since I'm obviously still working on this game, but here's a combat background:

Next I want to make some QoL improvements for groups, and prepare everything for an 0.6 public release which should land one of the following weeks. Then it's time to update the enemy encounters (both boss and normal) to the new equipment and genes.
Changelog
Major:
- New Tech UI, see above.
- New Dye selection, see above.
- Kneeling textures are finished.
Minor:
- Visuals for the fox tail perks.
- Visuals for the horse armors.
- Visuals for the hoods of Cows, Bees, Orcs, Elfs, Cats, Foxes.
- Updated the Law UI.
- Tilesets for the remaining farm fertilities.
- You can now select to keep your breeding filter stored for the next breeding sessions.
- Updated the Centaur racial moves to no longer overlap with role-related moves.
- Heavily decreased higher tier genes occuring in the wild.
- Trading posts are now unlocked by Borkum, and T3 islands require 2 fewer laws.
Performance:
- Crafting buildings would cause significant slowdowns.
- Smoothed out stutters related to updating buildings, large colonies should run smoother now.
- Improved productivity caching, repeatedly opening buildings with the productivity sorting on will be faster.
- The menu will now instantly transfer to the loading screen instead of hanging for some seconds.
Bugfixes:
- Gene Tailoring would try to remove T1 genes even when only higher genes were available.
- Added save compatibility related to the removal of the "no research set" warning.
- Servant's Quarter showed Happiness despite that being irrelevant.
- Equipping multi-slot equipment over worn equipment could result in unexpected behaviour.
- You can no longer drag training in the training queue (it didn't do anything).
- Adding or removing a group wouldn't update the group filter in the girl selector.
- Finish Breeding now opens the overview of the offspring instead of the last opened tab.
- Zoom In and Zoom Out hotkey were swapped.
- Divine tech requirements are now global instead of local.
- Some equipment like Nipple Bells or Patience is Golden didn't register correctly for trades.
- The name of workers in crafting buildings could start flickering.
- Milk Taverns and Fox Brothels didn't provide the needs of their normal counterpart.
- Recipe tooltips now show in what buildings that recipe is used.
- Closing the girl panel would sometimes not work if the building panel was still open.
- Ranch buildings could default to an unavailable recipe.
- If you got hit by encore after throwing equipment, you would perform and OVERRIDE IN GAME move.
- Milk Tavern and Petting Zoo weren't gated behind their law requirements.
- change_target_rank (e.g. Posture Collar) didn't work for moves that only had a single target.
