Version 0.5.4: New Game Settings

Holiday

In a couple of days I'm leaving on a two week holiday to Sicily. So the next two weeks there will be no new Ero Hunter versions. This means now is an excellent point to start a new game especially because there are now...

Game Rules

This week I added difficulty settings. If you've played Anno 1800, this layout should be very familiar to you.

When starting a new game, you can change the following Settings:

  • How easy it is to attach gear to enemies.
  • How easy it is to catch enemies, putting this on higher values makes attaching gear more necessary.
  • Whether you design your own starting characters.
  • Stat bonuses for enemies.
  • Mana gained from your houses.
  • The resources you start with (extra mana, extra building materials, random equipment)
  • Whether you start with all buildings/islands/techs already unlocked.
  • Whether you start with all buildings/islands/techs fully visible (instead of slowly becoming visible as you encounter more monstergirls)

The entire thing is also fully moddable and easily extendable.

Law Tweaks

I've made the laws less restrictive. The first taming law now only restricts monstergirls to T3 instead of T2, none of the laws force roles, or them to be servants or not. The large productivity maluses for failing to defang/declaw/collar tamed monstergirls have also been removed.

Also there's again a lot of miscellaneous and QoL changes. For example, armors have been buffed with durability tokens and removing max_health is less devastating.

Changelog

Major:

  • New Game Settings, see above.

Minor:

  • Laws have been tweaked.
  • All trades have been rebalanced.
  • Rebalances the Shrine radius calculations, the limit is now generally around 10 and they incorporate the miko dress.
  • Needs buildings now scale with the square root of productivity instead of linearly.
  • You can now force-pacify dungeons if your party's level is high enough.
  • Updated the dungeon embark panel UI.
  • Added a small upkeep for the supremacy laws.
  • Palace is now island-unique and requires a noble to operate.
  • The first supremacy law now allows calling for human reinforcements.
  • There are some new decorations.
  • The texture of the Slime Extractor depends on the recipe.
  • Added softlock prevention upon pacifying the last dungeon in Rotummer.
  • Lamia petrification is now a training, the Lamia Ranching now transmutes materials.
  • Armors now add durability tokens, preventing them from being immediately stripped.
  • Iron Armors now increase the damage reduction modifier instead of increasing damage reduction.
  • Liliana Cleric and Asena Paladin now also have undress moves.
  • Added two new corsets.
  • Reducing an enemies max_health no longer reduces her health (unless her health is higher than the new max_health).
  • The nose ring that gives extra compliance for rams now also works for cow and centaur.
  • Added some small hills to Texel and added bunnies to Texel and Marches.
  • All physical surgery has been moved to the piercer, the medical center now does magic procedures.
  • Techs are now unlocked by owning a monstergirl of the race, rather than having unlocked an island that contains them.
  • Sped up the girl info gear/overview panels.
  • Dot damage bonus multipliers now stack additively instead of multiplicatively.

  • Allowed changing bust size inthe  character creator.
  • You can now see the max health breakdown in the overview panel.
  • Perk tooltips now also show the perk duration if it is not permanent.
  • Improved ManaGrowth and Population Tooltips.

Bugfixes:

  • Right clicking to remove equipment would cause a crash if you went to the tech tree earlier.
  • All buildings had the locations of their workers fixed.
  • Goods Tooltips were broken at higher speeds (consumption and production by buildings was multiplied, nothing else was).
  • Fixed bug where heal damage doesn't show up in the move tooltip.
  • Wisdom trainings from laws weren't assigned a building.
  • Disabled selecting farms with incorrect fertility in the buildingpanel.
  • Racial Skill 2's upgrades were counted twice at T2 or trice if the first racial skill was also at T2.
  • Trainings that didn't use the basic training center always showed as orange.
  • Law upkeep wasn't multiplied by game speed.
  • Taxes were incorrectly calculated in the mana growth tooltip.
  • The cuddle training became invisible when you applied the pet training.
  • Experience bars would sometimes show incorrect progress in combat.
  • Trading posts would work even without a road connection and had a rounding error in their capacity display.
  • Glossary was still named "unimplemented" in combat.
  • Laws also applied to enemies.
  • Moves targetting allies had their move indicator dots reversed.
  • Non-offensive moves still caused recoil.
  • The filter for assigning a trainer to a training building looked at the trainee requirements, not the worker requirements.
  • Fixed some animation errors by making wolfbinder count as armbinder and wristcuffs, and the petsuit as wristcuffs and anklecuffs.
  • When starting an expedition to a new island, the unloaded world scene would show for a moment.
  • The girl selector list didn't update job icons upon swapping jobs.
  • Building roads had some issues if you click dragged under the building panel.
  • Fixed oscillations if a stockpiling item gets triggered multiple times while near its cap.
  • The Gym Rat gene was broken.
  • Girls of higher tiers didn't count for lower tier requirements, servants and statues counted for tier 1 requirements.
  • Checks on goods used in equipment didn't check equipment used to create the equipment (i.e. Latex Curse didn't affect items made from latex items).
  • Import restrictions didn't take exports from the exporting island to other islands into account.
  • The immolator gene no longer enforces a red haircolor.
  • Guard was broken.
  • You couldn't pan by right clicking in the world and expedition scenes.
